AMBASSADORS is the name of our Senior Adult Ministry group. Based on the Biblical reference from 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (“and He has committed to us the message of reconciliation; we are therefore Christ’s Ambassadors”), we are aligned with the vision of Hillside Church to be a house of prayer for all people who are reconciled to God and to each other, living as fully devoted followers of Christ.

A group of more than 75 senior adults, our active ministry includes outings, social events, service projects, and other activities. For example, we meet on the first Monday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at Denny’s restaurant to enjoy breakfast and fellowship with each other. It's a great time to have casual conversation and get to know members of our group.

A large number of our group are active in the Sunday morning Adult Life Courses (offered Sept. - June).  These Bible education classes on a variety of topics offer members of our group the opportunity to learn and grow with adults of all ages. Classes meet at 9:15 a.m.

Many of our group are also involved in small groups. Most of these groups are made up of mixed ages, which allows interaction with people in a variety of life stages. Some of the groups meet at Hillside; others meet in homes. The times and days of the week vary with each group.

There's always something on the calendar for you to enjoy. Pertinent information is published in the Sunday Bulletin and sent out through email with directions for registration and any costs that might be involved.
