Ladies: you are invited to a 6-week Bible study on the attributes of God, Thursdays, June 20-July 25 (no meeting July 4), 6:30 - 8:00 pm, in the library. While we cannot fully comprehend who God is, He reveals Himself in His Word and through His creation. Let’s seek to know God better and love Him more as together we study some of His attributes - what they mean, and why they are important. Invite a friend! Led by Traci Richard.
Save the date for our annual time of fellowship over hamburgers and hot dogs at picnic shelter #3. After worship together at Hillside during the ONE worship service that day (10:00 am) we will head over to Bush Lake, Bloomington, shelter #3. After lunch we will hear stories of faith in Jesus from those in our Hillside family who will be baptized in Bush Lake. It’s a highlight of our community! Registration will begin July 7.
Dads: Chad Whipple invites you to A Double Portion for Dads, a support group for fathers of adoptive/foster children (or a similar situation). The group meets at Hillside on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 8:30 - 10:00 pm, in room 155, to share life journeys and pray for one another. The next meeting will be May 9.
Ladies: the women in the Leafblad small group invite you to a Bridal Shower in honor of Lynae Larson, Thursday, June 13, at 7:00 pm, in the worship center lobby. Lynae is the fiancee of Joey Nutting, and the couple is registered at Target. Come and shower her with our Hillside love as she and Joey look forward their August 10 wedding.
The first Monday of each month at 9:00 am, the Sr. Adult Ministry Team invites Hillside senior adults to fellowship over breakfast at Denny’s Restaurant (4209 American Blvd., Bloomington). Each pays for their own breakfast. They’d love for you to join them June 3. You’re welcome to bring a neighbor or friend!
TOGETHER FOR GOOD
When vulnerable parents face crisis, children are at risk of abuse and neglect. Together for Good creates pathways for churches to come alongside families through their Christ-centered ministry to provide care, friendship, and a safe place for children, so that parents are able to regroup and gain stability. Linsey Anderson and Danielle Andrews are organizing a TFG Backpack Drive at Hillside, Saturday, June 1, in the cafeteria from 10:00 - 11:00 am. The backpacks have specific items (clothing, toiletries, etc.) to give help and comfort to a child during the transition time into a new TFG or foster care host family. The hour will include a short presentation by TFG, snacks, and packing and praying over the backpacks. Don’t miss this great opportunity to show God’s love! Sign up on your connect card to assist in packing (a great service project for small groups or families) and/or donate. Information on the specific items needed will be emailed to you and can be dropped off at the church ahead of time or brought the day of the event. If you don’t have time to shop for items, you can give a monetary donation and the team will do the shopping for you! Give online at hillsidemn.org, on our Hillside app, or drop it off in the church office. Register to pack and/or donate by May 11 - click here!

If you prefer a different drawing medium, or would like to use this drawing as preparation to finish a specific way, please bring your own supplies. Let us know if you can join us.. Register here.
