WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
The Women’s Bible study that meets on Tuesday mornings will begin this school year on Sept. 17, and will meet in the cafeteria, from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Join us for the eight-session study, “Raised Together” by Gloria Furma. As we study Colossians verse-by-verse, we will be encouraged to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ - He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We are new creations in Him! You will learn more about who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith. A study book will be assured for those registered before the first day of class. Cost $16.

No other book has shaped human history quite like the Bible, yet for various reasons many do not know how to approach it. Not only is the Bible fundamental for our spiritual lives, but it also has the power to shape civilizations. In this 10-week class, Pastor Brian will lead a study looking at where the Bible came from, why we should study it, and how to apply it for our own personal study. The goal of this class is to help us understand the relevance of the Bible, and build confidence in approaching and applying its wisdom to our daily lives. This class will be great for anyone: Small Group leaders, ministry leaders, new believers, or those who are just curious. The study begins Sept. 15, and will meet at 9:15 am in room #156.
Ladies: you’re invited to a Wednesday morning Bible study as we explore the seven “I AM” statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Gain a better understanding of how Jesus’ words 2,000 years ago are very applicable to the answers we are searching for today. The first class will be Sept. 11, 9:30-11 am, in the library. Book cost: $17. Questions? click here
It’s National Grandparents Day on Sunday, Sept. 8! The prayer team invites Hillside grandparents to come for a special time of prayer for your grandchildren that evening from 6:30 - 7:45 pm, in the cafeteria. We’ll drink some coffee, have some light refreshments, and come up with some creative ways to pray for your grandkids. Whether your loved ones are young and your heart is for them to know Jesus, or older and need to find their way back to the Lord, we’ll pray with you and encourage each other!
Adults: you are invited to the annual Hillside Ministry Fair that will be held in the gym from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm. Pick up a great cup of coffee from the Mugshots counter, then check out the tables of all the programs, studies, activities and volunteer opportunities that will be available at Hillside this school year for you and your family. Sunday School for adults - The Gospel Project and Bible Basics classes begin Sept. 15, at 9:15 am.
