Together for Good is a ministry that comes alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents in times of need by providing respite care, supporting host families who are caring for children, mentoring, and more.
VEAP is Bloomington's food pantry. Their mission is to create pathways to stronger, more hopeful communities through access to healthy food, housing stability, and supportive services.
Hillside is a donation collection site for VEAP!
Every Meal is on a mission to fill the food gaps school-age children face. Through their Weekend Meal Program, they discreetly place bags full of nutritious, delicious, and relevant food directly into the backpacks of students – so they return to school on Mondays ready to learn and grow.
Hillside has an Every Meal Ministry Team that distributes meals at a local elementary school on Fridays.
Hillside's Good Neighbor Team provides friendship, practical support, and life skills to a family who has been forced to flee their homeland.
Stephen Ministers are trained members of our congregation who provide one-to-one caring ministry to people experiencing grief, divorce, loneliness, job loss, hospitalization, and many other life difficulties.
